The ultimate goal is for you to identify and work through your difficulties that you are experiencing, to move on from feeling lost or frightened or out of control to a place of calm reflection, inner peace and feeling good about yourself.
This can be achieved through the therapeutic process by holding a mirror up to your experiences and for us to find a different way of looking at the problems. By exploring issues, often a solution can be found; if that is not always possible, finding a way to manage situations or people differently can be sufficient to make you feel better.
Either way, counselling is life-changing, in how you begin to think feel and behave differently and positively.
